The Fargo Jet Center is offering to provide shuttle flights from Fargo to cities in western North Dakota's oil patch. The private aircraft shuttle would service the cities of Minot, Williston, and Dickinson and the same-day round-trip airfare is set at between $675 and $875 per passenger. A spokesperson for Jet Center, Darren Hall, said that demand for flights from Fargo to the oil patch has increased substantially over the past year.
Ward Koeser, the Mayor of Williston, said that those companies in Fargo that do business in Williston will greatly benefit from the new flights. However, he adds that when it comes to the residents of Williston, they will most likely continue to drive when they travel to and from Fargo.
