Operations at Pearson on their way to normal

Even though travelers are still being advised to check their departure time before heading off to the airport it seems as though operations are getting back to normal at Pearson International Airport. There had been cancellations and delays of Air Canada flights due to job action by the crew who is responsible for refueling the aircraft. Last Friday alone hundreds of flights were affected.
On Saturday the airport went into a "recovery day" mode according to Shabeen Hanifa who is with the Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA). The company's Twitter page stated that "Operations are running normally this morning" on July 4. Workers are upset over the fact that their refueling contract will change hands on October 1, 2015 and that may result in job losses.
