JetBlue will add two daily flights from Charleston to Washington, D.C.
Charleston International Airport is going to get busier starting on June 19. JetBlue airways will add two daily flights to Reagan National Airport.
The additional flights were announced Thursday. The airline just celebrated its first year of serving the Charleston airport, and has a goal to reduce flight costs for people traveling between the two cities.
According to city officials, the new flights will provide a big boost to the business and tourism travel market between Charleston and Washington, D.C. Business travelers will be able to leave in the morning for the capital and be home in time for a late dinner.
