An air traffic controllers strike in Greece will cause the rescheduling of ten flights going to and from Larnaca and Paphos Airports. A total of about 1200 passengers will be affected by the rescheduling as the strike will last for three hours, affecting five departures and five arrivals. The time for the strike is set from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, according to Adamos Aspris, a spokesporson for Hermes Airports.
Aspris said that the flights affected are ones that are scheduled to fly to and from Athens, Salonika and Patras Airports. Rather than cancel the flights, they have been rescheduled. This might cause delays of one to one and a half hours. Aspris has recommended that those passengers due to fly today contact their airline or the Larnaca or Paphos Airports to determine the status of their flight.
