Air Canada made an announcement Wednesday, saying in May, it will offer two flights per day between Hamilton and Montreal. The flights will leave each airport two times each day except for Saturday, which will only have one flight each way. The flights will use 50-seat Bombardier CRJ jets, and will be timed so passengers can connect to flights to Europe and Atlantic Canada, if they choose. According to Air Canada's passenger airlines president, “Hamilton is a convenient departure and arrival point for the business community as well as tourists, visiting friends and relatives.” The starting price will be around $147 each way.
