The CEO of Regina Airport Authority, Dick Graham, says they’re not going to change the name of Regina International Airport when Delta Air Lines service stops at the end of July. Although this marks the end of direct flights from the airport to U.S. destinations by American carriers, he says “We’re going to replace (lost U.S.) services, we’re going to grow in our passenger numbers.”
Delta confirmed on Tuesday it would be discontinuing its two flights a day from Regina to Minneapolis-St. Paul starting July 31. United dropped its Denver-to-Regina service in February 2015 and Chicago-to-Regina flights in August 2014.
