More airlines have been waiving change fees for flights leading up to Thanksgiving as a winter storm moves towards the Northeast of the United States. A very small number of flights had trouble on Tuesday morning but all that is expected to change by Wednesday when a winter storm will reach its peak. As of 10:40 am Tuesday, only 45 flights had been cancelled according to FlightAware. As Tuesday rolls into Wednesday, which is the one of the heaviest days for travel in the U.S., the storm will hit and will likely cause delays and cancelations. In preparation, the five big airlines, Delta, Spirit, United, JetBlue, and American/US Airways are waiving their rebooking fees to the cities in the path of the storm.
