Starting July 27, Qatar Airways will offer three flights a week to Djibouti.
Flights will leave on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday from Doha. The airline will use two-class A320 aircraft.
Djibouti’s commercial success is growing and Qatar Airways is looking to capitalize on that fact. The republic is strategically located in the Horn of Africa and shares borders with Somalia, Ethiopia, and Eritrea. Djibouti also controls access to the Indian Ocean and the Red Sea. The country so far has limited international air services.
The Dubai-based Qatar Airways is growing rapidly and will also offer flights to Philadelphia, Larnaca, Edinburgh, Tokyo, Miami, Istanbul, and Dallas in the coming months.
