Direct WestJet flights between Toronto, Ontario, and Brandon, Manitoba will be available this summer according to an announcement made Monday. The addition will give western Manitoba travelers a hub to pretty much anywhere in the world. Before now, travelers from Brandon had to drive to the Winnipeg airport, approximately two hours away, to fly to Toronto. The flights will land in Brandon in the late evening and leave in the early morning four times each week starting on June 28. They will run until September 5 and officials say that if the demand warrants it, the schedule could be extended.
