The airport's summer schedule begins on March 25 and this year there are airlines offering flights to new destinations, making direct and connecting travel easier for travelers from North America and all over the world. These airlines include Air Berlin, Lufthansa, Russia's Orenair, Emirates, and Portugal's TAP.
Air Berlin is adding two new flights, one to Las Vegas, which is the airline's seventh direct flight to and from that destination, and the other a daily flight to Abu Dhabi, starting in April. Lufthansa is also expanding its operations from Düsseldorf and is this expansion is focusing on leisure travel, with Bari, Knock, Burgos, Ibiza, and Zadar now on their list of destinations, as well as new flights to Dublin, Catania, Westerland/Sylt, and Magala. Orenair and TAP also have additional flights to various destinations.
