Starting next month, the ultra-low-cost travel company NewLeaf will offer travellers non-stop flights between Winnipeg and Edmonton starting at $99 each way. Flights will operate on Thursdays and Sundays starting August 21. NewLeaf works with Flair Airlines in order to offer low prices to passengers through cost-saving measures like operating out of smaller airports and charging customers for checked baggage and carry-on luggage.
According to NewLeaf CEO, “Canadians have responded exceptionally well to our direct flights between destinations, and we are pleased to expand this service.” The company is based in Winnipeg and started selling low-price seats in mid-June.
