For the first time, non-stop flights have begun between Vancouver and Orlando. Officials at Orlando International airport just announced that WestJet, the Canadian carrier, has started offering flights between the cities. The current schedule, which will last through until the end of April, offers two flights per week. Until 2016, Vancouver has been the largest city in North America without flights to the Orlando, Florida airport. This new addition makes Vancouver the 50th international destination flying from the Orlando International Airport.
Orlando, called “The Theme Park Capital of the World” attracted over 62 million visitors in 2014 and the Orlando International Airport is the 13th busiest airport in the U.S.
