Many travellers will be frustrated by changes being made at Pearson International Airport for flights headed to the U.S. With summer season about to start, Pearson officials are introducing changes to help clear bottlenecks and get rid of the requirement for holding areas where passengers go if they arrive too early. The change started first in Terminal 3 and will be increased to Terminal 1 on Tuesday. Passengers will first drop their checked luggage, then go through security screening, and finally, go through U.S. customs and immigration. This is reverse order compared to traditional methods. The change is meant to make sure passengers are kept moving.
