A snowstorm moved through Colorado on Saturday, bringing at least two feet of snow in some parts and forcing airport officials to cancel most of the scheduled flights at the Denver airport. United canceled all of its flight into and out of the airport, and in total, over 800 flights were grounded, which worked out to more than 65 percent of all of the scheduled take offs and landings. Dozens of flights were delayed. The heavy snow started falling Friday night; by Saturday at noon, almost five inches had fallen in Denver and up to two feet had accumulated in the foothills and mountains.
