Although the daily WestJet Encore regional flights between Vancouver and Kamloops only started on November 25, WestJet will soon stop offering the service due to poor performance.
A carrier spokesperson said on Thursday that the morning flights weren’t ideal for business travelers so it’s no surprise that the service isn’t operating as well as hoped. The daily flights will end on March 1.
This cancelation of service means there will be no WestJet flights at all between the two British Columbia cities. According to the spokesperson though, flights could be offered again in the future if WestJet gets more aircraft.
