Cebu Pacific Air was forced to cancel 18 domestic flights on Sunday because of intermittent heavy rains. According to the travel advisory from the carrier, enhanced southwest monsoon was responsible for the poor weather. By 10:40 am local time, the carrier had also canceled its Cebgo flights (Manila-Caticlan-Manila). The other 16 canceled flights (CEB) include those from Manila to Legaspi, Tuguegarao, Roxas, General Santos, Dumaguete, Kalibo, and Iloilo, and from Manila to Cagayan to Oro.
Passengers who were or will be affected can re-book their flights on other routes within 30 days from the original departure date or ask for a full refund or travel fund. According to the advisory, “CEB will continue to operate all other services as normal but there might be some delays due to disruptive impact of the weather.”
