Southwest flight lands at wrong airport
A Chicago-bound Southwest Airlines flight headed for Branson, Mo. Landed at the wrong airport on Sunday.
There was no explanation as to why the plane landed at M. Graham Clark-Taney County Airport instead of the Branson Airport. The flight landed without incident and the ground crew from Branson went to the other airport to manage baggage and customers. A spokesperson had no explanation as to why the plane landed where it did.
The FAA is investigating.
The flight was scheduled to continue to Dallas. The passengers were taken by bus to the Branson airport and Southwest used another aircraft to continue the flight to Texas.
