Cebu Pacific (CEB) is preparing for the increase in summer travel by adding an additional 22% more flights in April and May. CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog, said that this increase in capacity will allow more passengers to take advantage of Cebu's low prices through April and May. They are offering low airfares to a number of destinations, including Siargao, Legazpi, Naga, Cebu, Dumaguete, Tagbilaran (Bohol), Davao, Iloilo, Bacolod, and Cagayan de Oro.
Iyog also stated that by increasing the number of flights they offer they are showing their commitment to promoting travel within the Philippines. The routes Cebu-Dipolog, Cebu-Legazpi and Cebu-Pagadian will be flown daily until June 15. The Cebu-Puerto Princesa route will have three additional weekly flights, making 10 total weekly flights, until June 4. Cebu Pacific also added flights to the Manila-Legazpi and Manila-Puerto Princesa routes, each of which now have four daily flights.
